As the Epic Stork Application Specialist you will be the expert on the Stork application and a resource for other team members. You will act independently to lead a cross functional, integrated team to create performance improvements across multiple domains. Translate business requirements into operational solutions. In addition, you will proactively evaluate technical enhancements and consults with the business to provide solutions to technical or process issues, guiding to best practices. As the Epic Stork Application Specialist it will be your responsibility to provide guidance, training and develop the skills of less experienced IT staff on the team.
This position will be at our newly designed, centrally San Diego located business services office, which offers an on-site café and gym.  This is a full time, salaried position and offers Scripps Health’s award winning benefit package.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Five years related experience.
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant application workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Business acumen in multiple functional areas.
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Ability to obtain Epic Stork Certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Epic Stork Certification
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7 years of related experience
