Is Scripps still accepting and processing applications at this time?
Yes, all open positions are posted in the Scripps Career Center. Talent Advisors are actively interviewing through an On-Demand video, Live Telephone or Live Video.
How will I interview for the role I’ve applied for?
All Scripps interviews are conducted through Modern Hire’s virtual process. You will receive an invitation to self-schedule and complete an On-Demand Video, Telephone or Live Video interview with your Talent Advisor and Hiring Manager. A live concierge will be available for any trouble shooting or questions as you prepare for your Live Video interviews.
How does the live video interview work?
You will self schedule the Live Video interview with the Hiring Manager. The invitation will include a link to join the interview. You can join the video interview by using a smart phone with a front facing camera or a laptop/computer with a webcam
Is Scripps providing Site Visits?
All Scripps locations are limited to employees and patients only. You will meet the manager during the Live Video interview and perhaps get the opportunity to meet other leaders and get a virtual tour. Any on-boarding visits will be done by appointments only.
How will I be notified about the safety precautions Scripps is taking?
An assigned Recruitment Coordinator will walk you through the process and schedule any pre-employment appointments during your Welcome Call.
What can I do to prepare for my on-boarding?
Gather critical documents in advance. These items may include applicable license/certifications, health documents such as immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Hep B, TB/Quantiferon, etc.) and I-9 original supporting documents such as Photo ID, SS Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, etc (copies are not accepted for I-9).
Why do I need to appear in person for my on-boarding?
The on-boarding must be done in person to complete the government required I-9 document. By law we are required to visualize your documents in person. We practice social distancing recommendations by conducting one-one-one appointments with your Recruitment Coordinator.
How will Orientation be handled?
To maintain a positive employee experience, Scripps has launched a live WebEx meeting for New Employee Orientation. This is effective March 16th until further notice.
